Tina Lewis was named ChildNet’s Human Resources Officer in May 2025. She first started with ChildNet in October 2023 as the Director of Human Resources. Her role includes oversight of Human Resources including performance management, talent acquisition, HR systems, benefits, employee recognition/appreciation, and training.
Tina comes to ChildNet, via Louisville, Kentucky, with over 40 years of Human Resources and accounting experience from the automotive industry. Past positions include Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager at Dakkota Integrated Systems and Human Resources Manager, Administrative Services Manager, and Controller at Dana Corporation. Although, not from the child welfare sector, Tina has had the opportunity to work with children in volunteer capacities, including taking part in the literacy program with Toledo Public Schools in helping young children improve their reading skills. She has mentored elementary, middle school, and high school students for 20 years with the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics program introducing children of all ages to S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. There is a difference between a career and a calling and this opportunity with ChildNet has afforded Tina the opportunity to marry the two.
Tina obtained her Master’s degree in organizational management from Spring Arbor University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Heidelberg College. She also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in Lean Manufacturing.
