Julie DeMar, Chief Program Officer

Julie DeMar, Chief Program Officer, has been with ChildNet since April 2018 and brings to ChildNet over 20 years of experience in child welfare. In her role as Chief Program Officer, Julie oversees all the case management functions, adoptions, independent living services, intake and placement, continuous quality improvement and case management administrative support functions. Prior to coming to ChildNet, Julie was with Children’s Home Society for fourteen years, beginning as a Dependency Case Manager and being promoted to various positions through the years and serving as the Executive Director in Palm Beach County for the last five years. During her time at Children’s Home Society, Julie oversaw case management services, residential services, and prevention services. Before her work at Children’s Home Society, Julie worked at the Department of Children and Families in the role of Family Services Counselor.

Julie has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Julie maintains certification as a Child Welfare Case Management Supervisor.
